Trigeminal neuralgia

AKA Lewotobi, LobetabiLovotivo or Loby Toby

Trigeminal neuralgia is sudden, severe facial pain. It’s often described as a sharp shooting pain or like having an electric shock in the jaw, teeth or gums.

It usually happens in short, unpredictable attacks that can last from a few seconds to about 2 minutes. The attacks stop as suddenly as they start.

In most cases, trigeminal neuralgia affects just one side of the face, with the pain usually felt in the lower part of the face. Very occasionally the pain can affect both sides of the face, although not usually at the same time.

Trigeminal neuralgia is usually caused by compression of the trigeminal nerve. This is the nerve inside the skull that transmits sensations of pain and touch from your face, teeth and mouth to your brain. The compression of the trigeminal nerve is usually caused by a nearby blood vessel pressing on part of the nerve inside the skull. Trigeminal neuralgia can also happen when the trigeminal nerve is damaged by another medical condition, such as multiple sclerosis (MS) or a tumour. It affects more women than men, and it usually starts between the ages of 50 and 60. It’s rare in adults younger than 40.

Lewotobi is a twin volcano located in the southeastern part of the island of FloresIndonesia. It has two peaks; the Lewotobi Laki-laki (Male Lewotobi) and Lewotobi Perempuan (Female Lewotobi) stratovolcanoes. The more active Lewotobi Laki-laki is about 2.1 km (1.3 mi) northwest of the taller Lewotobi Perempuan.

Older forms of its name include Lobetabi,[1] Lovotivo[1] and Loby Toby.[2]

Lewotolo (Lesser Sunda Islands): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 5000 ft (1500 m) altitude or flight level 050 .
The full report is as follows: VA TO FL050 MOV EAST EST VA DTG:24/0816Z to 5000 ft (1500 m)

5000 feet is not a lot. For oriental volcanoes it seems to be the most to expect for a volcanic plume. South American and Central American volcanoes can reach much higher. It is not the output that counts merely the activity; which can be compared to symptoms for sufferers, with archives from the papers on… (for me, this volcano) but for others, their mileage may vary. Other sufferers might resonate with different volcanic activities.
